Job summary

InProduction, a leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenery for U.S. live events, invites applications for a Saw Operator. You will read blueprints, operate an automatic vertical band saw, and manage material inventory in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include unloading materials, using a forklift and overhead crane, and performing basic equipment maintenance while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Familiar with basic hand tools and safe saw operations.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and meet schedules.
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operates automatic vertical band saw to cut steel stock to spec.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and shop drawings.
• Maintains inventory and completes stock reports daily.
• Loads/unloads materials and uses forklift for transport.
• Interacts safely with equipment, cranes, and overhead systems.
• Ensures clean, safe work area and performs basic maintenance.
