Job summary

DBM Global Inc. in Eloy, AZ seeks a Production Helper to assist in the fabrication of structural metal products for commercial buildings, bridges and industrial projects.

The role supports welding and fitting by handling stock, cleaning parts, and preparing materials while following safety rules and PPE requirements. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about 12 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or 12 months of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting and welding.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or with a truck.
• Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other routine duties.
• Assist fellow employees as directed.
• Pass the tacking test on Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead positions.
• Must adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
