Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 12 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measure using units.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions and moves workpieces from machines to assist fitting and welding.
• Loads, stacks and transports stock, tools and dies by hand or with forklift.
• Cleans metal and prepares surfaces for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Cleans work area, machines and tools; disposes of scrap safely.
• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
