Job summary

Trivent Safety Consulting is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to provide hands-on safety leadership across steel erection projects in Austin and Dallas, TX. This role requires on-site presence, direct work with field crews, and ongoing training to ensure employees go home safely every day.

You will oversee day-to-day safety on active projects, conduct toolbox talks, train field staff on required procedures, and maintain safety documentation. Travel across Texas is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of safety experience in the steel erection industry.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• OSHA 510 certification.
• CHST, CSSS, CSST - preferred.
• Strong understanding of steel erection hazards, fall protection, crane operations, rigging and construction safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field employees and management.
• Strong organizational and safety-documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.

This is not a desk‑only position. We need someone who can be present on our job sites, work directly with field crews, conduct training, maintain required safety documentation, and help ensure that our employees go home safely every day.
