Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Production Operative in Newport to operate bending machinery, set up and monitor equipment, handle steel products, and perform quality checks in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid break), 40 hours per week with overtime available; no weekend work. A stable, long-term opportunity with a supportive team awaits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or steel environments.
• Experience operating machinery.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Operating bending machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Setting up and monitoring machinery to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Working with steel products and materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Reading and following production instructions and technical drawings where required.
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and reporting faults when necessary.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
