Job summary

Flexible Metal, a Hyspan Company, is seeking a dependable Set-up Operator to set up and operate production machinery, support Machine Operators, and maintain quality standards on the shop floor.

You will work Monday–Friday, start training on first shift (6:00–2:30) and transition to second shift (3:00–11:30). This full-time role offers ESOP, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of tube-bending operations is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to complete job documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to specification to ensure correct production standards.
• Work with production supervisors to perform tooling changeovers on tube-bending machines.
• Start and stop machines, following proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Position and secure workpieces and start feeding mechanisms.
• Monitor continuous operation of automatic machines and adjust as needed.
• Perform quality checks using gauges and templates and document results.
