Job summary

STEICO Industries, Inc. part of Senior Plc, is seeking a Tubing Operator-Bend Runner for the PM shift (Mon-Fri 2:00PM-10:30PM) in Oceanside, CA. You will operate bending equipment, perform pressure tests on tubes, and ensure parts meet specs while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Experience with saws, pneumatic tools, and handling of aqueous cleaning processes is beneficial, as is mechanically inclined aptitude and a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with bending and tube processing is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow routing travelers and production instructions.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Daily and monthly aqueous clean maintenance.
• Aqueous clean parts in production area.
• Polish parts with pneumatic braider to remove blemishes.
• Perform pressure testing of tubes to relieve stress.
• Check and measure tubes to customer specs after testing.
• Read travelers for routing jobs to next area.
• Trim, face and deburr parts in production cell.
• Using Kanban, restock supplies for the department.
• Maintain 5S and safety requirements.
• Inspect, maintain and log preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Other duties as business needs dictate.
