Job summary

You will read blueprints, verify materials, perform quality checks, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to interpret basic production drawings and work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Verify materials and components prior to assembly.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet specifications.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area utilizing 5S principles.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team problem-solving activities.
