Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, is hiring a Steam Truck Operator in Kentucky. The role primarily handles steam cleaning equipment, operates the steam truck and pressure washer, and alternates between 1st and 2nd shifts under the Service Manager's direction.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of asphalt/road construction experience, and willingness to obtain a DOT physical, pass drug/background checks, and comply with safety policies and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years asphalt/road construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain DOT physical card; pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed; valid driver’s license and acceptable MVRS.
• Must comply with safety policies, OSHA/MSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam truck and pressure washer safely on site.
• Assist Lube Technician and clean equipment on 1st/2nd shift.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and I-9/immigration documentation.
