Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and monitor the steam plant from the control room, ensuring reliable steam production for the downtown Indianapolis district energy network. You will oversee natural gas-fired boilers, monitor steam pressures, temperatures, and flows, respond to alarms, coordinate with field operators and maintenance, and assist with startups and shutdowns.
A strong safety mindset is required, with experience in DCS/SCADA, and a valid Stationary Engineer
Qualifications
- Operates boilers and steam generation equipment ensuring safe, reliable operation.
- Monitors plant systems via DCS/SCADA and other control systems.
- Maintains compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.
