Job summary

The Boys' Club of New York (BCNY) is hiring a part-time STEAM Lab Instructor for the Mott Haven location. You will lead hands-on STEAM activities for small groups of students and bring curriculum to life through projects in electronics, 3-D printing, coding, and design.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, coordinating with the Education Director, and updating activities to align with BCNY curricula.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of college credits in STEAM or related field
• At least 1 year teaching STEAM to school-aged students in groups
• Familiarity with electronics, circuits and basic STEM tools

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM lab activities for 8–12 boys or young men
• Engage students with curriculum and project-based learning
• Develop or adapt STEAM curricula with Education Director
• Maintain positive classroom behavior and communicate progress
