Brooklyn Robot Foundry is seeking a dynamic Lead STEAM Teacher to run robotics workshops, after-school residencies, and camp programs. You’ll foster a growth mindset, teach circuits and engineering with real tools, and celebrate creativity with craft materials and expressive touches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education or STEAM.
• Hands-on crafting and building aptitude with basic tools.
• Behavior management and positive reinforcement.
• High energy, creativity, and flexibility.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead Creative Instruction: guide small groups through step-by-step assembly of real circuits and builds.
• Foster a Growth Mindset: encourage troubleshooting and learning from mistakes.
• Classroom & Safety Management: supervise tools and keep workspace clean.
• Encourage Individuality: help students decorate and personalize projects.
• Operations & Communication: handle attendance, setup, and parent updates.
