Job summary

Vision Education & Media dba Robofun in New York invites you to join as a robotics educator, guiding PK-12 students as they design and code lego robots, video games, and animations after school.

You will lead small clubs of 12 or fewer, teach 2+ clubs weekly across Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens or Staten Island, and have opportunities to teach weekends and during the academic day.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in traditional or non-traditional settings (school, camp, coaching).
• Ability to commit to teaching a minimum of 2 after‑school clubs per week.
• Proficiency with common software; comfort with technology.
• Passion for engaging diverse NYC students in tech projects.
• Willingness to undergo background check as required by NYC DOE.

Responsibilities

• Teach 2+ after‑school clubs per week at assigned NYC locations.
• Help students design, code, and troubleshoot lego robots and related projects.
• Master our curriculum through paid trainings and independent study.
• Maintain regular communication with managers about progress and needs.
• Contribute creative ideas to supplement the curriculum.
