Job summary

Snapology is seeking a part-time Instructor in Texas to teach STEM-based programs for children ages 3-12. You will promote creativity, teamwork, and problem solving while presenting STEAM concepts in a professional manner.

Typical hours range from 6-20 per week, with compensation of $18.00–$25.00 per hour. The role requires collaboration with leadership and participation in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Criminal and Child Clearances must be current.
• 2+ years of experience working with children in classroom or camp settings.
• Education degree or teaching experience recommended; teachers or education majors considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of up to 16 students through curriculum-guided activities.
• Instruct and monitor students in use of learning materials and equipment.
• Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules.
• Maintain discipline per Snapology policies.
• Encourage and monitor individual progress and adapt teaching strategies.
• Prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching trainings, or attending sessions.
• Encourage enrollment in future Snapology programs.
