Job summary

The Science Zone in Casper, WY seeks an AmeriCorps member to expand access to STEAM education across Central Wyoming. You will deliver hands-on activities, support after-school programs, and help host outreach events with community partners.

Science Zone AmeriCorps Member The Science Zone AmeriCorps Program engages passionate individuals in expanding access to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education throughout Central Wyoming. Members serve at The Science Zone and host sites, community organizations, delivering educational programs, supporting youth development, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and helping build community partnerships that inspire curiosity and lifelong learning. AmeriCorps members may assist with educational programming, after-school activities, outreach events, volunteer engagement, and the development of resources that increase access to quality STEAM experiences. Members gain valuable professional experience in education, nonprofit operations, public service, and community engagement while making a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families.
