Location: 1205 S 28th St, Harrisburg, PA 17111

The primary responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and monitoring plant equipment, with a focus on boilers and related systems. Experience in steam and power plant equipment maintenance is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair boilers and related equipment.
2. Utilize mechanical and electrical tools for repairs.
3. Repair leaks in steam, water, air, and gas systems.
4. Maintain and test pumps and valves.
5. Keep detailed records and logs.
6. Monitor plant operations.
7. Respond to maintenance and emergency calls.
8. Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs.
9. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
10. Communicate effectively with team members.
11. Follow safety policies and procedures.
12. Assist with estimates for plant upgrades or replacements.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with steam and condensate systems, boilers, and controls.
2. Ability to operate test equipment and read control prints.
3. Certifications in high-pressure steam and gas systems; naval steam plant experience is a plus.
4. Knowledge of power plant operations and relevant codes.
5. Use of personal protective equipment and safety procedures.
6. Customer service skills and computer literacy.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and overtime.
8. Physical ability to perform job duties with or without accommodations.
