Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an enthusiastic after-school instructor in California to lead hands-on STEM and Arts classes for K-8. Curriculum, lesson plans and materials are provided; you bring the energy and joy to engage students from 3:50 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

You will arrive early, manage a safe, fun classroom, and stay in touch with the Program Success Manager. The role offers $55 per hour per class (with $100 for two classes on a day) and requires reliable transportation and weekday

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching.
• Educational, training or youth-development experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, and able to commit to every scheduled date.

Schedule

Day(s) : Monday - Friday

Class time(s) : Classes run between the times of 3:50 - 6:00 typically 60 minute blocks

Program : STEM and Arts Programs

Compensation: $55 per hour of class | $100 for two classes per day

Compensation is per class or assignment (mini camp, field trip, etc.)

Nexplore Instructor Role :

Teach a hands-on after-school class that kids look forward to every week. Curriculum, lesson plans and all materials are provided. You bring the joy.
