Job summary

Nexplore USA is seeking an energetic instructor to lead a hands-on after-school class. Curriculum, lesson plans and materials are provided; you bring the joy and engage students in Pottery & RoboCoding activities.

You will teach on Mondays and Thursdays, with classes from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and compensation is $60 per hour of class. Training and ongoing support are provided by a Program Success Manager and regional team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• AA degree or higher is required or preferred.
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred).
• Educational, training or youth-development experience advantageous.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, and able to commit to every scheduled date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the class with energy and keep every student engaged.
• Arrive early to set up, and hand students off safely at dismissal.
• Manage the room so it stays safe and fun.
• Stay in touch with your Program Success Manager.
