Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience in a fine dining or casino steakhouse environment preferred.
• Must qualify for certification through NMAST.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, mixed cocktails.
• Basic math skills; able to handle cash and make change.
• Maintain a professional, neat appearance; flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and promote cooperation between departments.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and takes beverage/food orders; initiates conversation.
• Expedites orders; serves refills and follows up for additional needs.
• Keeps tables neat and resets for next seating.
• Adheres to alcohol serving requirements; verifies age when necessary.
• Anticipates guest needs and communicates with staff.
• Completes end-of-shift paperwork and opening/closing side work.
• Claims tips according to wage reporting laws.
• Delivers ACES customer service to patrons and staff.
• Follows safety guidelines and reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
