Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for clearing and resetting tables in assigned venue. Continuously monitors tables to assess guests' needs in a courteous manner. Other customer service duties required as requested by restaurant supervisor in order to assist in reaching profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Greets guests in a timely manner and obtains beverage and/or food orders. Initiates conversation with guests.
  • Responsible for clearing all tables and resetting them for new seating in accordance with venue standards.
  • Ensure each table is ready for guest’s arrival in accordance with venue standards.
  • Monitor tables to assess guests needs and anticipates and responds to guest requests when meal has been completed keeping table clear to provide a clean, neat, eating area.
  • Restock and clean assigned station at end of shift to have ready for start of next shift in accordance with Department of Health standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.
  • Participate as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Know information regarding all Food & Beverage Outlets to have ability to inform guests when they ask.
  • Follow cash handling procedures.
  • Pre-bus station regularly.
  • Complete assigned opening and closing side work.
  • Claim tips received according to laws governing wage reporting.
  • Provides Red Carpet Service to every patron and employee.
  • Must work well under pressure, and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
  • Adhere to all corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • May be required to answer questions when a manager is not available.
  • Must at all times demonstrate ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co‑workers and leadership.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • 0 to 6 months relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well‑groomed appearance adhering to company standards and work varied shifts, which will include weekends and holidays.
