Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs in Franklin, KY is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to greet guests, upsell the menu, and deliver timely, friendly service at the Steakhouse Bar. You will work with room staff to ensure a smooth dining experience and know the daily specials, cocktails, and wine list.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred; must be 21+, able to obtain work cards and STAR Certification before start.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by local jurisdiction.
• STAR Certification required prior to start date.
• Internal candidates must have six months in their current position and no active disciplinary action during the last six months.

Responsibilities

• Greets each guest and offers their name and assistance throughout the experience.
• Consistently offers all guests the entire menu and encourages dining at the Steakhouse Bar.
• Engages guests with a friendly, upbeat personality and builds rapport with patrons.
• Ensures a timely, seamless experience for each guest.
• Works with all room staff to maintain efficient service flow.
