Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Lead Engineer for Steady-State Performance at Evendale, OH. You will define, develop, and test next‑generation adaptive engines, including XA102, collaborating across SPOCT and external customers to mature designs and plan testing.

The role requires strong thermodynamics/ aerodynamics knowledge, NPSS fluency, and a US government security clearance. A senior, hands-on engineer with cross‑functional leadership will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience (aerospace, mechanical, and/or test).
• Eligible to obtain US Government security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermodynamic cycle models and analyses using NPSS.
• Plan performance test coverage, analyze data, compare to predictions, propose solutions.
• Conduct trade studies and document recommended options.
• Build relationships with SPOCT, internal teams, and customers.
• Define testing strategies, select measurement systems, report performance against guarantees.
• Lead small projects with limited risk and resources, communicate clearly.
