AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking a seasoned financial reporting professional to prepare quarterly and annual P&C statutory schedules and ensure data accuracy across statutory reports.

You will collaborate with Controllers, GAAP Reporting, Tax, and FP&A to uphold compliance and drive improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years in financial reporting or analysis, preferably in insurance, with strong Excel and Oracle ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in financial reporting or financial analysis; insurance experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; Oracle ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual P&C statutory statement schedules per statutory accounting principles.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data in statutory schedules.
• Ensure compliance with NAIC and state regulatory reporting requirements.
• Prepare ad hoc journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits with GAAP-to-statutory reconciliations.
