Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking an Insurance Financial Reporting Lead to own Branch’s statutory financial reporting, from quarterly NAIC filings to the annual statement and audit. You will collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Insurance teams to ensure reliable, audit-ready data and regulatory alignment as we scale.

You’ll drive the end-to-end process, including RBC analysis, schedules, and PBC coordination, delivering clear insights to Branch leadership on performance and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting, with statutory reporting at the core.
• Ownership of quarterly and annual statutory statement filings, with hands-on experience across every part of the annual statement.
• Ability to read Schedule P across years of development and explain what it shows.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, including quarterly and annual NAIC filings, RBC analysis, and NAIC RBC forecasting tools.
• Own the annual statement end to end, including the statement pages and Schedules B, D, F and P, coordinating with accounting, actuarial and reinsurance teams.
• Prepare other statutory returns Branch files beyond the annual statement.
• Lead the annual statutory audit, including owning the PBC process and coordinating with other departments.
• Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes and provide clear reporting to leadership.
