• Conducting research and analyses designed to identify, analyze, visualize, and report on emerging public health issues and problems.
• Serving as an expert in the analysis and quality evaluation of complex public health data and oversees the analysis of data using a variety of technologies and rigorous analytical techniques.
• Outlining scientific objectives, data to be used, analytical approaches and methodologies; developing new or modified methods to achieve desired results while ensuring scientific validity.
• Preparing comprehensive reports explaining methodology, results, data quality, and relevance to public health issues.
