Job summary

Austin Community College is seeking a qualified analyst to conduct research and analyses to identify, analyze, visualize, and report on emerging public health issues.

The role serves as an expert in the analysis and quality evaluation of complex public health data, overseeing analyses with diverse technologies and rigorous analytical techniques, and preparing reports that explain methodology, results, data quality, and relevance to public health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyses designed to identify, analyze, visualize, and report on emerging public health issues.
• Serving as an expert in the analysis and quality evaluation of complex public health data and oversees the analysis of data using a variety of technologies and rigorous analytical techniques.
• Outlining scientific objectives, data to be used, analytical approaches and methodologies; developing new or modified methods to achieve desired results while ensuring scientific validity.
• Preparing comprehensive reports explaining methodology, results, data quality, and relevance to public health issues.
