Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of bona fide apprenticeship, or 8 years of previous experience, or a combination of work experience and training equivalent to an apprenticeship.
• Experience operating, monitoring, PM and repair of air compressors, combustion and refrigeration equipment.
• Strong electrical background for troubleshooting firing controls and safety devices.
• CFC certification and boiler operating license required.
• Successful completion of interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned schedule, change shifts, and accept overtime while maintaining attendance.
• Learn and follow safety rules and procedures; work in a team setting with respect for coworkers.
• Follow instructions, both oral and written.
• Perform tasks of the trade; stand, walk, reach, lift, and use tools as required.
• Perceive details in prints and relate them to vehicles and equipment in the facility.
