Stationary Engineer Maintenance Tech 1 or 2

Location: North Houston - IAH area

Shift: Day Shift 5:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: $25 - $30 an hour depending on Experience

REQUIRES:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 1st or 2nd Class Boiler Operator License.

Major Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate boiler systems.
• Prepare for annual boiler inspection and water treatment testing.
• Maintain boiler by replacing parts as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems on CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, Mold Injection machines, Steam Boilers, Autoclaves, Spray Systems, Sandblasters, and Forklifts up to 12,000# capacity.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule to ensure equipment functions properly and production schedules are met.
• Keep accurate records and logs of maintenance activities.
• Use power tools and pipe threading machines properly.
• Read and interpret basic drawings, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
• Use and care for equipment appropriately.
• Support team efforts to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience including:
• Boiler operation
• Repair of CNC and manual machines
• Repair of Sandblaster machines
• Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures
