Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage boiler systems, pumps, and ancillary equipment. You will monitor gauges, adjust flows, and assist with inspections to maintain safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates will operate engines and boilers, maintain logs, and participate in safety and maintenance activities while supporting daily facility operations in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of starting and stopping boilers, chillers, pumps, and VFDs.
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations.
• Monitoring boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels.
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe operation.

Job Description

Under the direction of management, you must possess knowledge of starting and stopping boilers, chillers, pumps, and VFDs. Adjusting flows and PRUs. Cleaning the cooling tower and running power washers. Preparing boilers for state inspections. Assisting on oil truck deliveries.

Essential Job Functions

• Must be able to operate engines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Read gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations.
• Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels.
• Activate valves to change the amount of water, air, and fuel in boilers.
• Using it as feed or oil pumps.
• Inspect equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently.
• Check safety devices routinely.
• Record data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity.
