Treehouse Foods in Alaska seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to oversee the operation, maintenance, repair and preventive maintenance of plant utilities (HVAC, steam, water, ammonia refrigeration, wastewater). You will document critical readings, coordinate with QA and process personnel, and support production across shifts.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of plant utilities and their uses within the Aseptic and Retort Packaging manufacturing process.
• Able to work flexible hours to accommodate production demands, shift coverage, PM(s), and project completions.
• Meet or exceed the requirements of a 1st Class Mechanic and train others.
• PSM program knowledge and ability to work within it.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of PC & PLC based master refrigeration control systems.
• Adhere to safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of Plant Utilities equipment, including HVAC, steam, water, ammonia refrigeration, and wastewater.
• Document readings and test results to identify issues and reduce downtime.
• Assist other departments as directed by management.
• Collaborate with Facilities Maintenance Manager, QA, and Process Authority on production-related issues.
• Maintain daily logs, PMs, and CWOs for plant utilities mechanics.
• Submit follow-up repair/replacement requests to generate work orders.
