Job summary

LifeBridge Health, Inc. seeks a Stationary Engineer to operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, chillers, and building systems supporting safe, reliable patient care environments.

This on-site role involves routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs on steam, HVAC, and mechanical equipment; responding to alarms and service calls; and documenting work in a CMMS. You will follow safety and regulatory standards while collaborating with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Maryland 1st Class Stationary Engineer license or equivalent required.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred.
• OSHA safety training required.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers, chillers, and plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steam, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to alarms, facility calls, and hospital emergencies.
• Inspect, test, and adjust controls, valves, pumps, and safety devices.
• Monitor water treatment, system pressures, temperatures, and flows.
• Document work activities and equipment status in a CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and applicable codes.
• Collaborate with facilities, nursing, and clinical teams to support patient care environments.
• Participate in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Identify and report system risks, improvement opportunities, and capital repair needs.
