Job summary

LifeBridge Health seeks a Stationary Engineer to maintain Carroll Hospital's facilities in Westminster, with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, boiler operations and safe plant operation. You will perform preventive maintenance and overhauls to ensure uptime, while supporting shift-engineer duties and collaborating with the Facilities team to uphold SPIRIT values.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years of relevant training and a Stationary Engineer certification (SENG).

Qualifications

• Preferred High School Diploma.
• 2–4 years of trade apprenticeship or hospital/industrial training in Electrical, HVAC, or Boiler operations.
• SENG - Stationary Engineer certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital buildings and plant equipment in safe, operable condition including heat, light, power, and air conditioning.
• Overhaul, replace, and perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision by the Plant Manager.
• Perform shift Engineer duties ensuring safe, efficient operation of all engineering plant equipment.
• Support Facilities Department to meet the hospital's mission and SPIRIT values.

Summary

Maintains the hospital buildings, plant engineering equipment in a safe, inhabitable and workable condition relative to heat, light, power, air conditioning and other broad environmental factors. Repair and maintain equipment and perform routine general maintenance repairs by overhauling, replacing and performing preventive maintenance procedures with minimal assistance of the Plant Manager. Will perform shift Engineer duties providing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all engineering plant equipment. Ensures the quality of services rendered by the Facilities Department as it responds to the needs of its Customers in accordance with the hospital's mission statement and SPIRIT values.

Requirements

• Preferred High School Diploma
• 2-4 years Minimum of three (3) years of training in a trade apprenticeship program, industrial program, commercial or hospital industry in any of the major fields I.E. Electrical, HVAC, Boiler Operations Knowledge required, building management system knowledge. Required
• SENG - Stationary Engineer

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Fleet safety required.

Pay Range: $34.18 to $51.27 Based On Experience
