Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a dedicated 1st Grade Stationary Engineer to join our team in Rockville, MD. The role requires an active Maryland 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License and offers the possibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift in the Central Utility Plant.

Compensation ranges from $40.00 to $42.00 per hour, with differential for 2nd ($3.50/hr) and 3rd ($5/hr) shifts. This contract-to-hire position includes comprehensive benefits and fully onsite work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in HVAC, boiler systems, electrical, and plumbing.

• Perform boiler maintenance and repair plumbing fixtures and piping.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and problem-solving.

Job Title: Stationary Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st Grade Stationary Engineer to join our team. This role requires a Maryland 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License and offers opportunities to work 2nd or 3rd shift in the Central Utility Plant. $3.50/hr shift differential is offered for 2nd shift, and $5/hr is offered 3rd.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• MD1st Grade Stationary License required. Must be active. Cannot take NAPE, DC, or Niulpe license.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
