Job description

Stationary Engineer (Job Code: JC-511067)

Salary: $6,088.00 - $7,707.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Location: Valley View Fire Center in Elk Creek, CA. Work Location: Glenn County.

Job Description and Duties

Stationary Engineer duties include operating and maintaining stationary mechanical equipment, boilers, generators, compressors, and other plant machinery. Working Conditions

May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Overnight travel may be required.

Special Requirements

• The position requires medical clearance before being hired.
