Job summary

Motivate LLC is seeking a Station Services Technician to maintain the cleanliness of bike share stations, docking stations, and advertising panels across the Bay Area. The role entails operating a large vehicle, cleaning with power washing equipment, and documenting work orders using field devices.

The position requires outdoor work year-round, a valid driver’s license with a good MVR, and comfort with mobile apps.

Motivate is seeking a Station Services Technician who willmaintain the overall cleanliness of street fixtures, docking stations, and advertising panels. The starting schedule is 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Please note that schedules are subject to change as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and for business need.

About the Role

• Inspect and evaluate assigned bike share stations for cleanliness
• Perform bike-share station cleaning services using power washer equipment and various tools
• Utilize field devices to document work order ticket completion records
• Keep and maintain clean and presentable work areas, tools, and equipment
• Operate a large vehicle to travel throughout the bike share docking stations network

About You

• You are experienced operating large vehicles in congested city traffic and know the layout of the Bay Area
• You have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• You enjoy working outdoors year-round and in all weather conditions
• You are comfortable using apps on a cell phone or tablet
• You are knowledgeable in using various tools and equipment
• You can lift to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
