Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is seeking a dedicated CSR to support day-to-day store operations at our retail locations. You will assist the Station Manager, oversee staff in their absence, and coach team members to deliver excellent customer service while following CSI policies.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment, including cash handling and customer service experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment, tools and computer software programs & applications.
• Knowledge and application of proper sanitation and safety requirements associated with food storage and serving.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• High School graduate or equivalent and a minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in Station Manager's absence.
• Provide work direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed per CSI guidelines.
• Support safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies and respond to incidents professionally.
• Ensure compliance with wage & hour requirements and CSI cash handling procedures.
• Support CSI's loss prevention processes and ensure safe behaviors across the team.
• Maintain courteous, professional contact with customers, vendors and community.
• Perform all duties of Customer Service Representative as needed.
• Under Station Manager direction, communicate with Business Consultant about operations.
