Job summary

Alaska Airlines in Tulsa seeks a Manager, Station Operations to own the airport’s operations and execute strategies that deliver a superior guest experience rooted in safety, care and performance.

As a people leader, you will set priorities for the team, manage budgets and vendor contracts, and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth passenger handling from curb to cabin, while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of customer service or station operations experience with related duties.
  • 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or additional training/experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent communication skills to enhance customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Ability to establish cross-functional relationships and work with teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

  • Lead station operations team and establish priorities.
  • Develop and implement airport operations strategy, budgets, and schedules.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
  • Oversee customer service, ticketing, baggage handling, and ramp operations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Represent the company in the community and public relations.
  • Manage station resources including facilities, equipment and supplies.
  • Develop people through performance management and stretch assignments.
  • Supervise labor contract administration.
