SkyHop Global LLC in Detroit, MI is seeking a Station Leader (Player-Coach) to build and lead a high-performing team from the ground up. This hands-on role requires spending about 50% of time driving and setting the standard for safety, service, and performance in a fast-paced 24/7 operation.

You will hire and develop drivers and support staff, monitor KPIs and service levels, and collaborate with dispatch and safety teams to drive results.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience 2–3 years in transportation, logistics, or operations.
• Hands-on, front-line leadership mindset - this is not a desk-only role.
• Open availability for a 24/7/365 operation (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
• P&L ownership.

Job Title: Station Leader (Player-Coach) - Detroit, MI

Pay: $80,000 per year + Monthly Bonus Opportunities up to 20%

SkyHop Global is a national leader in airline crew transportation, operating 24/7/365 across major US markets. As we expand into Detroit, we are looking for a hands-on Station Leader who is ready to build, lead, and grow a high-performing team from the ground up. This is a player-coach role-you won't just manage the operation, you'll be in it. Expect to spend approximately 50% of your time driving, leading by example, and setting the standard for safety, service, and performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day station operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
• Drive routes and transport airline crew members safely and professionally (~50% of the time)

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company policies

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience 2 to 3 years (transportation, logistics, or operations a plus- but we can train this!)

• Open availability - must be able to support a 24/7/365 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays) We are a 24/7/365 business!

Leader/ Driver Qualifications (Required)

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Clean driving record (no moving violations in the past 3 years)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Non-CDL DOT Medical Card
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and assist with crew luggage
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to all company driving policies
• No personal mobile device usage while operating company vehicles (per company policy)
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
