Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Bradford, PA seeks a General Manager to lead the Bradford operation, ensuring safety, service quality, and on-time performance. You will manage station staff, flights, and budgets while upholding SkyWest's standards.

This full-time role requires airline-ground handling supervisory experience, strong communication, and a focus on leadership and customer service. Travel for company business and scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior management or supervisory experience within an airline's ground-handling operation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Leadership and customer service, with strong people and employee relations skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Travel for company business and training meetings as needed.
• Lift 50 pounds or more consistently.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Responsible for compliance with all governing rules and regulations regarding safety and security in the airline industry.

Primary Job Duties

As the new General Manager, you will set the tone for the entire Bradford operation as you strive to uphold SkyWest's guiding principles of Health and Safety first, Respect and Teamwork, Excellent Service and Quality, and Personal and Operational Reliability. You will lead with these principles as you:

• Provide leadership, direction, guidance and motivation to all station personnel
• Oversee daily flights and operational efficiency
• Maintain effective communication with SkyWest departments, vendors, airport authorities, partner agencies, and associated agencies
• Manage station budgets, accounting practices, budgets, inventory, and training requirements
• Ensure compliance with all SkyWest policies, procedures, and partner operating standards and procedures
• Responsible for compliance with all governing rules and regulations regarding safety and security in the airline industry

Salary will be commensurate with experience and city classification. Moving and/or relocation assistance may apply and will be discussed during the interview .

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should be driven, dedicated, well-rounded professionals with a wide range of management and customer service abilities.

• Required: Prior management or supervisory experience within an airline's ground-handling operation
