Job summary

Qualifications

Associate degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance technology or equivalent education/experience.
24 months’ satisfactory work experience as a Station Servicer A or Station Electrician A with additional requirements.
Valid Class A CDL is required.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls on station trouble; analyze station conditions and repair if safe; coordinate prompt restoration of service.
Perform routine and emergency switching operations at substations as directed by proper authority.
Be proficient at EHV switching as necessary and oversee maintenance contractors as required.
Inspect assigned stations on schedule; report conditions requiring major repairs; conduct minor maintenance.
Collect data via asset management software; monitor meters, relays, batteries, and equipment; renew transformer fuses.
