Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated team member for Omni Corpus Christi Hotel to help maintain a memorable guest experience by inspecting dishes and keeping buffet areas tidy and properly stocked. You will ensure food quality, monitor temperatures, and support dining room operations in a fast-paced hotel setting on the Texas coast.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift and carry 25lbs routinely and up to 50lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest quality customer service to all guests.
• Be pleasant, smile, and greet all guests.
• Expedite food by inspecting dishes for visual appeal and to ensure that food is properly prepared and served at the proper temperature in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment. Sweep, vacuum, wipe areas and maintain buffet stations cleanliness.
• Must possess knowledge of dining room service procedures, table numbers and full familiarity with the food and beverage menu.
• Maintain temperatures and freshness of food on buffet.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork by communicating effectively and positively with staff.
• Able to set up and break down buffet in a timely manner.
• Able to perform any other job duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

• Must possess knowledge of dining room service procedures, table numbers and full familiarity with the food and beverage menu.

• Able to set up and break down buffet in a timely manner.
