Job summary

The Institute for Excellence in Math and Science Education at New Mexico State University seeks a Program Coordinator to lead STEM events statewide. You will coordinate planning, budgets, and logistics for flagship programs, working with university colleagues, K-12 partners, and state agencies to deliver high-impact experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 1 year of relevant experience or higher degree.
• Associate’s degree with 3 years of related experience also qualifies.
• Five years of professional experience in event planning or youth-focused programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of STEM events across New Mexico.
• Serve as operational lead for flagship regional and statewide programs.
• Collaborate with university departments, K-12 districts, state agencies, and NMOST partners.
