Job summary

The State of Florida is hiring a Senior Refrigeration Mechanic to oversee installation and repair of HVAC systems state-wide. Candidates should have 1 year of HVAC experience or 4 years total experience. Responsibilities include maintaining refrigerant records, performing preventive maintenance, and supervising inmates. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the HVAC field or 4 years of experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass a Level 2 background check.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain records on refrigerant use and recovery.
• Install new control systems and diagnose HVAC problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report tasks.
• Supervise and maintain custody of inmates.

Education
