Qualifications
Four years of appropriate experience in HVAC related work.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Refrigerant Recovery certification is required.
Demonstrable working knowledge of blueprints and schematic drawings.
Responsibilities
Install, operate, repair, and maintain A/C and refrigeration equipment.
Service and refurbish different types of A/C and refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot field-connected devices and repair or replace parts as needed.
Skills
Troubleshooting pneumatic and electric/digital devices
Using up-to-date equipment and materials
Soldering refrigerant and water piping/tubing
Recovering refrigerant
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of HVAC apprenticeship program or equivalent
Valid Florida driver license
