Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; substitutions allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• 5 years purchasing experience, including 3 years public purchasing.
• 3 years supervisory/managerial experience; project lead may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with CPA, other agencies and divisions.
• Monitor automated systems and branch productivity for timely purchases.
• Plan and conduct statewide procurement activities and conferences.
• Represent the Department at meetings and respond to purchasing inquiries.
• Supervise development of specifications and statements of work; review before approval.
