Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a GPSTC instructor for statewide security training. You will deliver instruction to public safety personnel and contribute to statewide training design and evaluation.

The role may require evening/weekend hours and travel to satellite locations and GPSTC campuses, including Forsyth. Georgia POST certification is required, with instructor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of work experience as an instructor delivering law enforcement training.
• Possession of Georgia POST Basic Law Enforcement certification.
• Must be in good standing with Georgia POST.
• Willingness to travel to satellite locations and GPSTC academies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to public safety personnel statewide.
• Develop, review and revise statewide public safety training programs.
• Supervise instructors and manage training evaluations.
• Coordinate training delivery at GPSTC academies and satellite sites.
