Job summary

Childhswv is seeking an experienced Director of Programing to provide administrative leadership for statewide programs. The role will supervise program supervisors and site managers, work with state leadership on strategic planning, and help manage budgets and performance across programs.

The director will support accreditation efforts, update operating procedures for licensing changes, and collaborate with staff to drive growth, fundraising, and policy engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in child welfare.
• Background checks including criminal and child abuse registry as required by agency.
• Willingness to travel throughout the state; irregular hours as needed.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to program supervisors and site managers.
• Collaborate with state leadership for strategic program planning.
• Assist with program budget management and financial oversight.
• Monitor program performance, quality assurance and operations.
• Support accreditation efforts/COA and update procedures/manuals as needed.
• Collaborate with administrative and other Directors to advance program goals.
• Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and sustainability.
• Assist with fundraising efforts and liaison with legislative leaders on policy issues.
