State of Delaware's Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) seeks a Pharmacist Compliance Officer to conduct statewide inspections of health care facilities and pharmacies, ensuring adherence to state and federal drug laws. This casual/seasonal role supports regulatory oversight and public safety.

Responsibilities include inspections, reporting, interpreting laws, providing pharmacist coverage when needed, and coordinating with other regulators.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in practicing as a pharmacist.
• Six months experience interpreting state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of dispensing procedures and drug distribution systems.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy dispensing computer systems.
• Possession of a Delaware Pharmacist license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Conduct statewide inspections at health care facilities, pharmacies, practitioner offices, and other sites.
• Review work of researchers and consultants; prepare related reports and recommendations.
• Provide interpretation and educational information related to state/federal pharmacy laws.
• Provide pharmacist coverage in state pharmacies during emergencies or staff shortages.
