The South Carolina Department of Public Health is seeking a pharmacist to perform regulatory and law enforcement duties to ensure compliance with drug control laws, including inspections of registrants and audits. You will play a key role in identifying discrepancies and coordinating with internal and external partners.

The position requires a SC pharmacist license, eligibility for law enforcement certification, and strong analytical, communication and writing skills.

Competenze

• Pharmacist licensed by the SC Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• Eligibility for certification as a law enforcement officer.
• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• SC driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to interpret laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting and writing skills.

Mansioni

• Conduct regulatory inspections of authorized controlled substance registrants.
• Perform comprehensive controlled substance accountability audits and coordinate investigations.
• Investigate registrant compliance violations and potential criminal offenses under SC law.
• Provide staff training and participate in DPH meetings; support disaster preparedness and on-call during emergencies.
