Job summary

Office of Shared Administration (OSA) seeks an Executive Director of Operations to lead statewide enterprise operations, align budgetary planning, and guide cross‑department performance across DH, DHF, and DoHS. You will drive capital planning, real estate strategies, and risk management while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

You will oversee Administrative Services, Operational Administration, Procurement, and Construction/PM, shaping statewide infrastructure and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in large-scale operations, facilities management, public administration, or capital project planning.
• Proven budgeting, property and lease management, personnel management, regulatory interpretation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Strategic & Enterprise Leadership: define, plan, and execute goals; manage complex budgetary needs.
• Divisional Oversight: supervise and develop Administrative Services, Operational Administration, Procurement and Construction/PM.
• Operational Excellence: establish and report facility costs, space utilization, project delivery, procurement performance; drive improvements.
• Capital Projects & Asset Modernization: coordinate major capital improvements and manage real estate portfolios.
• Facilities Maintenance & Emergency Readiness: plan maintenance and COOP readiness.
• Compliance & Risk Management: ensure safety, risk mgmt, ADA compliance across assets.
